Secondly, CCB isn’t a percentage boost, but a static increase of RuneScape gold +30 range strike over the Rune Crossbow. Clearly +120 in comparison to +90 is a huge gap, a difference of 33%. However, I’m using range-boosting armour to get a range strike of +141 using Rune crossbow, therefore CCB will be +171. Therefore, CCB will be just 21 percent more accurate than rune, ignoring the precision boost from Void (it probably does not matter anyway as it piles multiplicatively) So, dismissing the difference from eagle eye, it is a choice of +5% damage AND precision, as opposed to +21% accuracy. Currently by canceling out the +5% precision by rigour by dividing by 1.05, the choice comes down to +5% damage or +15.5% accuracy. hmm.
Funny Bunny stated: Also keep in mind that a chaotic recharge using a combination of tokens and gp costs 20k tokens. I am not sure your existing rates but keep in mind that eventually you’ll achieve floors that grant 20k litres each day. Considering these floors can take 23-28 moments, and I doubt you would have the ability to make 2 mil in this time in frosts, it will become worthwhile to simply use tokens for your fix. And although you can’t currently get that many tokens that fast, keep in mind that there are limited applications to tokens and that there is no fluctuation in their value (meaning the tokens you earn now will be worth the same theoretically as those you make when you’re 120 Dung). A good analogy would be the idea of conserving your effigies until it is possible to do yourself; Either way the ending reward is going to be the same (Dragonkin Lamp), the only difference is what you give up on your way to getting there (in this case xp in various abilities ).
Assuming 2 dungeons each hour at 20k tokens each, that’s 40k tokens or the equivalent of 3.6m. Okay, seems good… but not everyone is 120 dg. I do not actually have a good team, so I get on average 10-11k tokens per hour, the equal of 0.9-1m. Yeah, that is less than that which I could make from doing other stuff.
Void) you’ll want CCB because it will increase the likelihood of those high hits reoccurring. Meanwhile, if you have a more accurate armour (ie. Armadyl) you will need Rigour because you’re already hitting so often, you may as well make each hit more powerful.
The entire idea is that you’ll one day be there… or near along with the tokens you get then will be well worth exactly the same as they are now. So while 17k tokens can appear to be a lot today, someday they’ll be pocket change and you would rather have an extra 2mil compared to 17k tokens (which will otherwise be spent on Dungeoneering xp). Sorry at this point your mind is likely composed; I’ve turned your query to a persuasive essay:D (more like a discussion actually ). You are right though; the other equips play a huge factor as does the manner Jagex really implements these bonuses and cheap OSRS gold for that reason I think this becomes too complicated to rationalize mathematically.
