Warp drive…active! Destination: somewhere else.I like how almost all of EVE Mobile ISK the elderly EO players are as much against this since the remainder of those guys. They just always keep blaming us for this change, like we made it or even asked for it.You’re goddamn right. I really don’t desire EO 2.0, I need mobile, may have some brief fun with it, EVE.Same sick just go back to Online, and hault my lap top around for mobile drama when I’m in work.Time to fire the Chromebook…
FWIW, EE can simply be downloaded on one of my Chromebooks (Pixel Slate) and not two others. Not it things for Geforce Now, unless they are skipping some Chromebooks for different reasons…I played with EO consistently for about 8 decades, and also on-and-off sporadically for the following 3. I’ve got capital ships, I’ve got billions of isk, I have struck trillions earlier but lost the drive to drive that hard since I gained more irl responsibilities (having to pay a mortgage really is a bitch let me tell you, I miss my carefree years).
Then came EE, and it offered what I wanted. Casual EVE. I’ve been in nigh-endless wars that never seem to really change front lines that much, I have been the winner, I have been the failure, I’ve had enormous profits, I’ve gotten a freighter popped. EVE is enjoyable in so many facets, and a number of my finest memories still revolve around blopdrops, sitting around orbiting a blop for seven hours simply to have two moments of popping through the Cyno for a twenty minute fight and running out to regroup. To lots of people, that’s lots of wasted time, I didn’t even get loot.
EE doesn’t need to be EO. Bubbles are a error. Taking away protected afk autopilot is a error. We don’t need another EO, we have already GOT EO. SO MANY OF US are tired of the constant time investment and we can’t do it, even if we would love to. Playing EE has made me want to go look at my EO account again and just spin around in my dreadnought, though it is still around (can’t recall where I parked it tbh, might be long gone if I parked it at a corp foundation, which I’m fine with).Let me start off by saying I always wanted to play with EVE online, but never did. To advanced, grind fest nightmirror, and waaaaay to much focus was needed along with a learning curve which blew my head off.
Devs amazes us the notion: When EVE Echoes was declared as a”Condensed” variation on mobile, I got super excited! Just a couple of buttons, easy learning curve however still complicated enough to be enjoyable, and cartoring to”Mobile” players with AFK traveling (This is a selling point from the devs themselves!) You can AFK, or in case you get disconnected, telephone call, wifi, or actual life matters suddenly need your attention. They SOLD THIS GAME as a mobile game with the promise it could cater to users. We didn’t make this up in our small heads, so they told us flat out,”AFK” was a thing. They even stressed that if you simply have a couple of minutes, log on, then ship your boat some where to cheap eve echoes isk do a quick delivery, log off.
